Carol Jackson

Before working at PEF, Carol was a Senior Associate at the Young Foundation, where she managed the DCSF’s Youth of Today Youth Leadership Fund. Prior to this she was Director of Youth Work at Community Links in Newham, East London and previously worked at the National Youth Agency and with NIACE on the Young Adults Learning Partnership.

Carol has worked in youth and community work for over 20 years at a national level as well as in the South West, East Midlands and London working in partnership with public, private and voluntary sector organisations to secure positive outcomes for young people.

In addition to her Degree in geography, Carol has Postgraduate Diplomas in Youth and Community work and business management and in her spare time mentors young people and plays in a samba band.
