Welcome to our Summer newsletter which brings you up to date on the Private Equity Foundation’s work . On 3 June 2009 we kicked off the inaugural PEF Championship Football Tournament at the David Beckham Academy in London. Twenty teams drawn from the private equity world, as well as young people from our newest portfolio charity, Vital Regeneration, competed to raise £32,000 to help more disadvantaged children and young people. Read more>> In the first event of its kind, a team of 10 runners from across the private equity community has kicked off its fundraising campaign in advance of the Berlin Marathon on 20 September 2009. For many in the team, which is made up of runners from Cinven, Cognetas, Clifford Chance, Horwarth LLP and AMG, this will be their first marathon but they remain undaunted. Read more>>
