PEF has joined forces with the UK’s leading independent think-tank, the Institute for Public Policy Research (ippr), to offer policy makers and practitioners interested in young people not in education, employment or training (NEET) access to a new quarterly newsletter.
The ‘NEET tracker’ provides a digest and commentary on new research, policy and data related not only to the NEET population but also to the wider policy context such as education, health, crime and employment.
The first edition features a comment piece from leading Conservative front bencher David Willetts MP as well as useful data and learning materials. The aim is to anticipate emerging trends and issues, and to act as an additional resource for delivery organisations who may not have the capacity to work through data and policy documents themselves.
The tracker is available at: http://www.ippr.org/publicationsandreports/publication.asp?id=674
