Analysis of the Labour Force Survey for our quarterly Youth Tracker highlighted that young people receiving A-level results face a difficult year despite their achievements. Their risk of becoming NEET has risen by over 40 per cent since the onset of the recession. However, those with no qualifications still remain far more vulnerable. A shocking 36 per cent of young people leaving school empty handed are NEET.
